We have been steadily improving the range facility and its safety. We feature a 50-yard and 100-yard Rifle Range with overhead baffling for additional safety, plus a covered firing line with a shooting table/bench at each firing position. The firing line can accommodate twenty bench rest positions. Many hunters utilize our range in late summer and autumn to sight-in.
Delran Junior Marksman Club also features a 25-yard Pistol Range with a covered firing line. We utilize a steel trap system, the Pistol Range also has overhead baffling for additional safety. In addition to the eight (8) 25-yard positions, there are four (4) 11-yard positions, and five (5) 8-yard positions.
We have a Regulation 16 Yard Trap Range with a regulation trap house and concrete pad at the firing line with stands at each station, and an automatic trap thrower. We plan to have an ongoing trap program, weather permitting. Along the right side of the Trap Range we also have a Shotgun Patterning Board.
We further feature an Air Rifle Range with distances of 20, 30, 36, and 45 meters; the Range is also lighted for night use. Various Air Rifle and Air Pistol Silhouette Matches and Field Target Matches are held throughout the year.
In 1996, we constructed a .22 caliber Small-bore Rifle Silhouette Range with shooting distances of 40, 60, 77, and 100 meters, with Chicken, Pig, Turkey, and Ram Silhouettes. This range was constructed with financial assistance from Friends of NRA.
In 2006, an Archery Target was constructed alongside the fence next to our Air Rifle Range. We currently have a field target site which is between the shotgun and silhouette ranges and consists of both elevated and ground level targets. It is available for use on Saturdays only. There is no use of this archery range on Sunday when the trap range is operational. Additionally there are stationary archery targets on the air rifle range and can be used on Saturday or Sunday.
