Competitive Shooting
CMP High Power Service Rifle Match
These 100-yard matches are informal, with instruction in handling of the club-owned M1 Garand or AR-15 rifles, and basic marksmanship. Matches are open to both members and the general public. There are usually four matches held per year. Matches are held two times in the spring and twice in the fall. Fees cover the cost of targets and ammunition that the club supplies. Pistol Leagues Spring and Fall
When there is enough interest among the club members, the club sponsors a Pistol League. Pistol league shooters usually meet as determined by the participants. These are NRA bulls-eye matches in rim fire and center fire. Courses of fire are to be determined when the Pistol League resumes.
High Power Rifle Team
When there is enough interest among the club members, the club sponsors a High Power Rifle Team.
Junior Small Bore Rifle Team
When there is enough interest among the junior club members, the club sponsors a Small Bore Rifle Team. In the past they have participated in indoor league matches, regional, and sectionals as well as outdoor NRA 50 yard and 50 meter matches.
Small Bore Rifle Silhouette Matches
From April through November, NRA approved Small Bore Rifle Silhouette Matches are held on the 4th Saturday of the month from 9:00AM until 12:00PM. These are 80-shot matches. These matches are open to both members and the general public. Please visit our event schedule page for more information.
Air Pistol/Air Rifle Silhouette Matches
Several 80-shot Air Pistol/Air Rifle Silhouette Matches are held each year. The matches are usually held on the 2nd Sunday of the month, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. These matches are open to both members and non-members. Please visit our event schedule page for more information.
Shotgun/Trap
Trap Shoots are held on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays of the month and on Wednesday evenings 6 PM -9 PM, now offering doubles the first Saturday of the month from May through October A fee is charged to both Members and Non-Members for 25 clay birds per round. Trap is also conducted, informally, by members during normal operating hours.
